On Friday, August 14, 170 local residents biked to Peachtree Street between 8th and 10th Streets in Midtown Atlanta as part of the first ever Business and Bikes.

 The goal of the event was to support local businesses and highlight the positive impact the bicycling community has on the local economy. 77 people spent money at local businesses along the strip and spent a total of $1,876.

Business and Bikes is a new recurring event that will encourage people on bikes to support local businesses and highlight the positive effect people on bikes have on a local economy. Stay tuned for future events!
