Have a bike?
Many of us rely on bicycles for essential transportation or know someone who does. During the coronavirus outbreak, more people are picking up a bike to get around for essential trips, including traveling to essential jobs, running crucial errands, or participating in mutual aid for vulnerable people who cannot leave their homes.
That's why the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is partnering with Sopo Bicycle Cooperative and the Atlanta Students Advocating for Pedestrians to connect Atlantans who have a ready-to-ride bicycle to Atlantans who need one.
We are accepting donations through the end of June. As of Memorial Day, we have 26 essential workers and Atlantans needing to make essential trips desiring a bike.
