Are you ready to be part of Atlanta’s bicycling craze? The city’s got more and more folks out there riding bikes for fitness, commuting to work and school, as a means to get errands done, or taking in the BeltLine and other park spaces on two wheels? Come learn how to ride a bike.
This class is for true beginners – adults who have never been on a bicycle or those who may have tried riding a bike a few times, but are not comfortable balancing, starting and stopping, shifting gears, and scanning the environment while pedaling. After two 2-hour classes, you will get all those skills and leave empowered to join the thousands of other cyclists enjoying and negotiating Atlanta.
We have a limited number of bikes for true beginners to use and we may be able to provide two graduates with a bicycle of their own. Please bring a helmet, water, and sunscreen. The first 30 minutes is in a classroom and the remaining 90 minutes will be outside at a park near the ABC office.
Please only RSVP if you're able to attend both class dates.
