Want to make Atlanta a more livable city? 

Apply to be a part of our first Advocacy Bootcamp and whip your advocacy brain in shape!

Learn the ins and outs of local advocacy issues, hear from guest speakers leading the change, and walk away with the tools to become a powerful advocate in your community. Each session will begin with a Saturday morning session, followed by weekly workshops on Thursday evenings. 

Weekly Sessions: 

Thursdays, July 23-August-27, 6:30-8 p.m.

You will learn: 

  • How to employ storytelling to create more effective advocacy messaging.
  • How the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition works with the City of Atlanta, Atlanta Regional Commission, and Georgia Department of Transportation.
  • How to form a coalition with neighbors and nearby residents
  • The history of advocacy campaigns of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition: what worked/what didn't
