The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition provides weekly tours of the Atlanta BeltLine (BeltLine Bike Tours) on the east and west sides of Atlanta through the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership. The tours showcase the existing Atlanta BeltLine trails and introduce participants to what’s coming up for the BeltLine project.
We’re looking for applicants who are reliable, organized, timely, friendly, and committed to providing great customer service to fill one Tour Coordinator position, and multiple Tour Guide & Sweep positions. Details below.

Responsibilities

Schedule Tour Guides based on availability (doodle) on a monthly basis
-
Review Tour Guide Invoices on a monthly basis and send to ABC for approval
-
Coordinate with Bike Rental / Tour Start/End Locations

Ensure Start/End Locations are supplied with snacks, water, BeltLine educational material and ABC educational material

Modify Tour route as applicable to changing BeltLine construction, city events, new year, etc…

Update ABC on weekly basis with roster and photo from Saturday and Sunday tours via email

Ensure website and registration platform is accurate with current schedule / information

Ensure communication (pre-tour email from Atlanta BeltLine Partnership & post-tour email from Atlanta Bicycle Coalition) is accurate

Educate Tour Guides on BeltLine project and ensure playbook is in line with other Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Tour Programs

Ensure BeltLine Fitness Program provides accurate tour information in quarterly pamphlets

Attend BeltLine Quarterly Briefings

Attend BeltLine Tour meetings (semi-annual)

Make yourself available for questions about tours (either email, phone, or both)
Preferred Experience/Training
-
Two+ years experience bicycling on city streets required
-
Background in project/event management
-
Customer Service experience
-
Volunteer or team management experience (supervisory role)

Basic bicycle maintenance knowledge (fix a flat, adjust brakes, etc)

$15-17/hour

Hours 4-8 per month (may also lead tours for additional hours)
