Project Glow

Mission: Provide lights (free of cost) to any Atlantan who need them!

Lights are expensive, and not everyone can afford them. Project Glow is a new initiative aimed at ensuring that everyone who rides a bike at night, has front and rear lights to keep them safe.

When: Friday, November 4th (1 day before Daylight Savings)

Where: Two start locations (Specifics TBA: One West of the city and one in downtown.) Choose one of the two locations, and meet there at 5:30pm, ready to roll at 6pm. We will email you start location details. From the start location, you will join a route leader and ride with a small group (4-5) of people to distribute lights (we'll provide) to bikers you encounter while riding who do not have lights. Your route will end at the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition office where the fun will continue with free beer, food trucks, and glow sticks!

Who: This event is open to members only. Please be sure to join/renew ahead of time! Riders should be able to comfortably ride 5-10 miles at 10mph.

Why: Because finances should never prevent someone from arriving safely.
