ABC is always looking for sharp, energetic volunteers to help out, but occasionally we have specific needs that need to be filled. Click on the role that best suits you, or get in touch with your own idea.

We are now forming committees to help stretch our small staff into big results! Committees for Change will meet at least every other month in person and more frequently by email and phone. Committees will be chaired by ABC board members but we truly need volunteers to make their work successful.

  1. Finance. Accountants and CPAs are particularly needed to serve on this committee.
  2. Fundraising. Energy, ideas, and follow-through are all you need to help make ABC more financially sustainable.
  3. Ride/Event Planning and Communications. PR professionals, journalists, event planners -- all are needed to put on fantastic events and get the word out about the good work ABC is doing in the community.
  4. Education and Advocacy. This team will oversee our bike education programs including Confident City Cycling and our Bike Panel Lecture series. Advocacy initiatives include equipping people with the knowledge and tools they need to take action on pressing safety and facility issues, as well as to participate in public planning processes. This is incredibly important work and requires a large team of dedicated volunteers.
