University Bike Programs


Bike Emory is an innovative partnership between Emory University, Advanced Sports, Inc. and Bicycle South to support a richer bicycling experience on and around Emory’s campus.


A student-led project to encourage bicycling on campus by holding a contest for design of artistic and functional bike rack, observing and taking surveys of current bicycling on campus, creating a campus facility for minor bike repairs, and mapping bike racks on campus.

Georgia Tech University: Starter Bikes, a collaboration between ABC and Students Organizing for Sustainability
Volunteers accept donated bikes and refurbish them for sale or rental in order to expand access to this affordable transportation option.

Georgia Tech is also planning to launch a pilot bike share program sometime in fall of 2011 in partnership with viaCycle.

Bike Agnes Scott
