How do I get to Grant Park?

We strongly encourage you to ride your bike or to utilize public transportation in order to arrive on time to Grant Park.

Bike/Walk- a short 1.3 mile bike ride or walk from King Memorial Station (a perfect distance to warm up those legs.)

MARTA bus #32 is a direct line to Grant Park from Five Points Station

Parking is available at the Grant Park parking lot located on the corner of Boulevard and Confederate Ave.

What kind of bike should I ride?

First off, make sure your bike is in working order! For the family ride, any bike should work just fine--i.e. a touring bike, mountain bike, tandem, or bike with a kids' trailers attached.

For the Guided Tour or the Le Grand Tour, we recommend riding something that can handle some mileage. A hybrid or city bike,  touring road bike, or road bike is great. If riding a road bike, we recommend having tires that can handle any rough spots you may encounter on city roads. Pack a patch kit, spare tube and a pump!

Where should I get my bike tuned up?

We will have Snyder Cycles on station at Grant Park and their Road Wrench as a SAG vehicle in order to fix any day-of issues. But please make sure to get your bike in tip-top shape before Saturday! We recommend visiting any of our member businesses. ABC members get discounts at these awesome shops! Not a member, well you should join!

Will water and food be provided?

We will have water and snacks at our rest stops and at the beginning and end of the ride at Grant Park. However, it's going to be a very warm morning and hot day Saturday - with very little chance of rain! So remember to HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE! Drink lots of water the day before, as well as the day-of.

There will be plenty of shaded, grassy areas in our area of Grant Park for you to lounge on a blanket, play Frisbee, jam to tunes from the DJ, and fuel on food and beverages provided by Chipotle and New Belgium. Just make sure to drink lots of water at the end party!

Are we going to be riding on the whole BeltLine corridor?

Unfortunately the BeltLine corridor has not been purchased by the Atlanta BeltLine so only the paved portions of the Atlanta BeltLine will be included in the Guided Tour, 15 mile option.  ‘Le Grand Tour’ Ride will not be riding on any paths since it will be escorted by Atlanta Police Department motorcycle division

Will bikes be available for rent at the starting location?

No, bikes will not be provided.

I just got a sweet hair-do and want to show it off.  Do I have to wear a helmet?

I think I bit off more than I can chew.  Can I switch from ‘Le Grand Tour’ Ride to the Guided Tour?

Shoot, I purchased a ticket and now I cannot attend.  Can I get a refund?
