Designed for beginning cyclists, those new to group riding, or the cyclist who is looking for a slow, socially oriented jaunt through our intown neighborhoods. Experienced riders will share knowledge and answer questions to help folks feel more comfortable riding with a group on the streets of Atlanta. This is a slow-paced social ride (avg. 10-12 mph) between 10 and 15 miles in length. Faster riders may race up hills - but will wait for the group at the top. Our motto is fun for everyone!
This ride is always on Sunday and starts at 10:30 a.m. Meet in Little Five Points (corner of Euclid and Moreland Ave.) by the Village Coffee Shop. Helmets required. No ride if raining. For more info call Pam at (770) 319-8888, or email poedesign@mindspring.com.

Monthly Training and Touring Rides
ABC leads monthly rides through different parts of metro Atlanta that are sure to please those cyclists interested in fitness riding and/or touring by bicycle. These rides are longer and faster than our Fun Ride, and often include considerably more climbing. Almost always held on the 4th Sunday of the month, the time varies to account for the changes in seasons.
We always try to provide more than one group ride leader, one to lead the ride and one to ride sweep with the slowest riders, so you can be confident that we won't leave you to the elements. But you should be fairly self-sufficient just in case. Come and join us!
