New PSAs raise bike awareness

A special thanks to Soapbox Studios for their creative vision in helping us realize this project, as well as their valuable donation of studio time, production and post-production services.

The concept of this project arose from our interest and quite frankly, frustration, with getting some basic messages out about shared rights and responsibilities on the road. The "voice of reason" thread throughout the PSAs reinforces the fact that sharing the road is possible and reasonable for drivers and cyclists. The tagline "Let's get there together Atlanta" is part of a new campaign created to cultivate a sense of respect and responsibility on our shared roadways.

We felt that it was essential to produce this message for both English and Spanish-language audiences and we invite you to listen and share the examples below on your website or blog. We will be working to distribute these PSAs to local English and Spanish language radio stations and encourage you to ask your favorite stations to play them on-air.

If you would like to use these PSAs in your region, please contact ABC for further details.

Special thanks to everyone who helped out with this project:
Matthew Hutchinson, connection maker
Paxton Greene, Executive Producer, Soapbox Studios & voice-over talent
Tyler Davis, Audio Engineer, Soapbox Studios
Adela Jackson, Spanish translations
Soshana Cockrell, Spanish translations
Hernan LaGreca, provided Spanish voice-over talent
