Breaking news: Senate passes “superspeeder” legislation, sends to governor. Drivers who hit or exceed 85 mph on a highway, and 75 mph or more on a two-lane road would pay an additional $200 state fine to any local ticket. Chalk one up for slightly saner driving in Georgia if the governor signs this into law.
