Open all the streets! Avondale Estates Sunday Ride and Atlanta Streets Alive

Announcing the 2012 Avondale Estates Sunday Ride scheduled for April 29, 2012, 11a.m. – 3p.m. because Good Neighbors Make Good Neighborhoods!
Building on Avondale Estates’ successful and fun-filled experience last year, the 2012 Avondale Estates Sunday Ride will again transform 4 miles of city streets–a great resourc of open space–into one vast park. Motor vehicles will be replaced with walkers, joggers, bikers, scooters, skaters or any form of active (muscle powered) transportation).
A FREE and OPEN-to-ALL event presented by DeKalb Medical and sponsored by the City of Avondale Estates, Avondale Estates Businesses, Civic Organizations and Friends of Sunday Ride. More information on the web at AvondaleEstatesSundayRide.org.
Then join the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and partners for Atlanta Streets Alive on Sunday, May 20 on North Highland Avenue, traversing four beautiful intown neighborhoods: Virginia Highland, Poncey Highland, Inman Park, and the Old Fourth Ward (voted most bicycle-friendly neighborhood by our members in 2011!)
