If you aren't already aware of it, you should check out Michelle Marcus' blog, I Dream of Bicycling.

You likely know Michelle by sight, if not personally. She rides classically and with style, usually on a royal blue Takara three-speed, sporting skirts, pumps, blouses. Nary a hint of spandex or moisture-wicking polyester: all class.

As Michelle describes her blog: "Stories of bicycling around Atlanta, reviews and comparisons of cycling in different cities, and commentary on the 'healthy places' that are created by pedestrian and bicycle friendly streets."

She reimagines Atlanta as a cycling city, presenting transportation on a personal, sometimes philosophical, level. It draws attention to Atlanta's dearth of bicycle infrastructure, but also shows how to blend form and function: riding with style, riding for utility.
