Lyubov (Lyuba) Zuyeva

Lyuba comes from Russia and spent several years living and working in Asheville, North Carolina, where she started biking to work. Motivated by the desire to help create more sustainable communities, Lyuba obtained a dual master's degree in City and Regional Planning and Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

She started volunteering for ABC bike count effort as a student at Georgia Tech. During an internship with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) in summer of 2009, Lyuba conducted a bicycle facilities inventory for the 18-county Metropolitan Planning Organization region.

She currently works in the Transportation Planning Division at the ARC, where her responsibilities include serving as the Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator. Lyuba lives with her husband in the Edgewood neighborhood of Atlanta.
