Jared Welsh
Jared rediscovered cycling several years ago as a sensible way to cover the few miles he’d once driven, and he quickly realized that cycling could change not just his life but the landscape of his community. He soon became an ABC member and began working to help Atlanta realize its potential as a truly livable city, one that offers a unique and beautiful urban experience despite its reputation for traffic and sprawl. Jared joined the ABC Board in late 2010.
Jared is an attorney at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, where he usually arrives via bicycle to practice trademark and copyright law. He grew up and attended school in and around Atlanta, and he lives in Candler Park with his wife, Lauren, in a house full of bikes.
