Hack your commute

Are you rethinking your commute?  We hear you. People on Bikes are happy; people in cars - not so much.  More and more Atlanta residents are discovering the benefits of biking to work, to school,  to do errands, or to get to MARTA.  You get awesome exercise, you see cool things, you meet great people, you do good for Mother Earth.  Basically, supplanting a few car trips with people-powered bicycle trips is just good news all around.

Let us help you hack your way of getting around. A life hack is a tool or technique that makes some aspect of your life easier or more efficient.  Your ride leader, Stephen Spring, has been car-free, taking on the streets of DC, SF, Austin, and Atlanta by bicycle for three decades. If you don't have a bike, no problem, the city's got these $10/month bikeshares and our class will start and end at one of them.

This ride is guaranteed to lift your urban bike riding confidence. We will meet up, unpack your commute, then hit the city streets on a 45-minute ride in and around Atlanta's urban landscape. We’ll take it slow, stay together, and practice our skills in a safe and supportive setting. We will end at the Two-Wheel-Tuesday gathering of Bike Commuters of Atlanta at Victory in Inman Park, which is a block from block from a bike relay hub in case you are using a relay bikeshare.  You will develop the knowledge you need to transform your commute and become part of a growing and vibrant community of People on Bikes in Atlanta.

Please arrive on time. We strongly recommend you bring a helmet, water, sunscreen, and a friend or three.
