Riding 2500 Miles - Help Me Raise Money for the Atlanta Bike Coalition

Hey Members of the Atlanta Bike Coalition!

First, I wanted to say thank you for being avid supporters of cycling and being members of the ABC! I think what you’re doing is awesome and a needed effort to help advance bicycle issues in Atlanta.

My name is Paul Supawanich, a former Georgia Tech grad and Atlanta resident. I became an everyday cyclist while in Atlanta, and it is the city that initiated my passion to work on transportation issues. Since that time, I moved west to Berkeley, CA to attend graduate school to study those same topics.

Even though I am now on the west coast, I try my best to stay informed about local Atlanta issues and cycling. However, this summer, I feel that I’ll have an opportunity to give back to the ABC and the issues it promotes. At July’s end, I’ll be taking a 2500 mile solo bicycle touring trip from San Francisco to my hometown in Illinois. Along the way, it is my hope to raise $4000 and have the ABC as one of my two beneficiaries.

As bicycle enthusiasts and local movers and shakers, I wanted to ask for your help in spreading the word. Any donations large or small would really help and would go back to help the Atlanta Bike Coalition.

Please feel free to check my blog where you can make donations, suggestions, and comments. I’ll be posting photos and videos as I can!

Thanks for your time and safe riding this summer.

Best,
