Bike Emory's Ride to Campus Day is next Wednesday, October 22nd. Last year they had a great turnout, surprising many car commuters on their morning rides down Clairmont Road. Bike Emory is encouraging everyone who lives, works, learns and plays in the Clifton community to cycle to campus to promote the cycling culture in the Clifton community.

In the morning, riders will meet in front of Bicycle South, located at 2098 North Decatur Road, at 8 a.m. where a free breakfast

(with sweet and salty items) will be provided.

Cyclists will depart Bicycle South at 8:30 a.m. and ride down North Decatur Road to Clifton Road. As the group turns right onto Clifton Road, participants will head to their final destinations.

Free T-shirts will be provided to all morning riders and prizes will be awarded to the cyclist with the longest commute and to the participants from the department/school with the largest number of riders on October 22 and the rider with the best costume.

Bicyclists are strongly encouraged to cycle to the start of the Bike to Campus Day event at Bicycle South (corner of Clairmont and North Decatur roads). There is VERY limited vehicular parking for this event.
