Bicycle Business Membership

Our members and general audience are active members of the cycling community -- many of them already support their local bike shop.  Joining our organization shows your store’s commitment to safety and a bicycle-friendly Atlanta.

The $100 annual membership fee is the most cost-effective, most targeted marketing and advertising money you will ever spend.

As a bicycle business member of Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, your benefits include:

• Static membership sticker for your storefront
• Free collateral safety materials to distribute to cyclists
• Logo/reciprocal link on our website
• Star on our bicycle shop map
• Link in monthly e-newsletter for member benefits
• First priority for sponsorship of ABC events
• Special opportunities to promote your business to ABC members including targeted campaigns and special events

In return, we ask that each bicycle shop be an “active” member and contribute each of following benefits to ABC members annually:

• 10% discount on labor and/or products
• Product donation of at least $100 (retail value) for give-aways and promotions
• Join us on at least one ride (we offer many rides per month) as “technical” assistance
• Volunteer or organize a special event for National Bike Month (May) and/or Bikes Across Atlanta Week (July 2010). This is a completely customizable requirement that can happen at your store - we invite you to be creative with it. We will help promote all events.
