Get involved with ABC - join a committee

If you're an ABC member interested in stepping up your involvement in 2011, consider joining a committee!

  • Rides: Plan annual fundraising rides - The Ramble and BeltLine Bike Tour
  • Atlanta Streets Alive: Plan and execute Atlanta's ciclovia
  • Communications (new in 2011): Help craft our messages for clarity and impact; promote bicycling through the media
  • Advocacy Team: plan advocacy training series and prioritizing issues for member action
  • Membership Committee: set membership goals, develop more and better benefits, seek new members and retain current members.
  • BONUS: If we have enough interest, we'd like to form a Fun Committee to plan parties - especially a big one to culminate Bike Week / celebrate our 20th anniversary!

Volunteer with Courteous Mass

As Courteous Mass ATL approaches its year anniversary, we need your

around! Here's how you can help:

each month. You can do this by posting flyers, inviting friends through
the facebook page, contacting your elected officials to ask them to
attend, and posting the ride details on online event listings and
listservs. Develop routes - the routes change slightly every time, and
while we like to leave room for spontaneity, it's also a good idea to
