Winter Membership Drive Kickoff

Join us December 8th at the Irwin Street Market, 6PM til 8PM, as the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition kicks off its 2012 Winter Membership drive. Get that special someone their very own Atlanta Bicycle Coalition membership, good for discounts at fine establishments around the city and help the Bike Coalition make Atlanta a friendlier, safer bicycle city. We'll also have our latest sweatshirts for sale (now in color) and logoed bells.

Member of the Month - Scott Jolliff

The first time I (Ali) met Scott was at last year's Sweetwater 420 Fest when we both volunteered for bike valet duties. Scott rolled up on his Mundo cargo bike - kid in tow and I was awestruck. I'd never seen a bike like that before! As a parent I was also impressed because it was clear to me that Scott wanted his sons to enjoy bicycling as much as he does and help promote it as a safe, reliable form of transportation. We think he's just the kind of rad dad any kid would be lucky to have, not to mention a great ambassador for ABC! Read on for our interview with Scott.

We think Zipcar is a nifty alternative for folks who occasionally need to borrow a car without a lot of hassle. It's also a great option if you are thinking about ditching your personal car but want the security of a set of wheels for longer distances or emergencies.
