Atlanta bike share: one step closer
Atlanta City Council member Kwanza Hall (District 2) introducted a resolution authorizing Mayor Reed and the city to contract with a bike share company on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
The legislation will go to the CDHR (Community Development & Human Resources) committee for consideration. Is your council member on the committee? Take action! A quick email asking them to support the legislation would help show community support for this exciting initiative. Contact info: Andre Dickens - Chair; Michael Julian Bond; Keisha Bottoms; Kwanza Hall; Joyce Sheperd; Cleta Winslow; Ivory Lee Young. If you're not sure who represents you, find out here.
[Update: council approved the resolution]
