Andrea Hatter

Andrea Hatter is new to the ABC board and to bicycle commuting. After moving into the heart of Atlanta from the ‘burbs, she picked up a folding bike for her daily commute. One month later, she met Rebecca Serna at a BeltLine event and became an avid participant of Heels on Wheels. The rest, as they say, is history.

Andrea has lived in the Metro-Atlanta area for 10 years as a freelance graphic designer and writer, in addition to her consistent employment at the AJC. With the pseudonym “Madeline Hatter,” she is a published author of an unromantic comedy, Lookin’ in the Mirror.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, she finds that the experience is part of what fuels her passion for “a diverse transit economy.” She loves to travel and hang out at Piedmont Park. Andrea is most recognizable in Midtown, riding her bike with her schnoodle running in front.
