About ABC
Our Mission is to make it safer and easier to ride a bike around Atlanta. We work to be your voice for better biking, create programs that overcome the barriers to biking, educate the public (cyclists AND drivers) on how to share the road safely, and build community among cyclists.
The "mores" that guide us:
more cyclists
making more trips
to more destinations
over more routes
for more reasons
more safely
in a more bicycle-friendly community

Routes to School Program at four schools in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties
Why
We Promote the Bicycle and Bicycle Transportation
Bicycle transportation
makes sense: for cyclists, for the city, for the environment. Bicycling
keeps the air cleaner, by eliminating some of the car trips that make Atlanta's
air among the dirtiest in the nation. It provides healthful exercise. And
bike trips save time and money, because cyclists combine their workout with
commuting, and avoid car expenses, transit fares, and parking fees.
Besides, cycling is
just plain fun! You can enjoy being outdoors, and have a little fresh air
adventure while taking care of business.
