Heels on Wheels
*Next date: Saturday, May 1* - 1st Saturday of the month!
Ah, spring, and a girl's thoughts turn to heels - heels and wheels. I love biking in heels so much, and I want to share! Get heeled, get your ride, and let's enjoy the lovely weather together!
(This ride is always super no matter how much it rains, or snows, or sleets, but I've decided to set a permanent rain date for the following Saturday.)
We'll glide down Atlanta's signature street, Peachtree, for a night on the town without the hassle of figuring out who will drive and where to park. Instead of trying to avoid Saturday night traffic, we'll BE traffic!
Our goal is to turn a few heads and shift people's thinking about WHO rides bikes (we women-folk ride too) and WHERE people can ride bikes safely (biking on city streets can be both fun and safe if you ride with confidence, are visible, and ride predictably by following all traffic laws and staking your claim to the lane when it's too narrow to share.
