Ever wondered what you could do to spread the joy of biking, or just hoping to clear out a little elbow room in your garage? Consider donating a bike that's not being enjoyed to its fullest potential.

The Sopo Bicycle Cooperative accepts all kinds of bikes at their East Atlanta location.  If you're traveling over the holidays, consider bringing your childhood bike back with you. Sopo is fixing and distributing bikes to refugee children in partnership with Just Cause and the International Rescue Committee. Sopo's mission is to create equitable access to cycling by providing affordable bicycle maintenance services and education.  This Saturday volunteers will be on hand fixing up donated bikes starting at 11 am.  Find out more at www.sopobikes.org or call 404-425-9989.

The Family Store
would love to have your new or gently used kid's bike for their annual "Pride for Parents" toy drive.  This program makes it affordable for low-income parents to select their children's bikes themselves.  To make it easier, several metro bike shops have partnered with the Family Store to accept donations. Attached to your bike but still want to help?

Bikes for Women and Girls transforms the lives of women and girls with the gift of freedom through mobility.

THE INSTITUTE FOR TRANSPORTATION & DEVELOPMENT POLICY (ITDP), promotes environmentally sustainable and equitable transportation projects worldwide. ITDP will make it possible for many women with jobs to own a bicycle, thus reducing the likelihood that male family members will claim this asset for themselves. Because health care logistics are a major issue in Africa, women health care workers will be the main recipients of this project.

$145 buys one bicycle for an African woman or girl or just $30 purchases one share of a bicycle. Give a Gift.

Give the gift of belonging: ABC gift-wrapped memberships

Make your favorite recreational cyclist, roadie, serious commuter or occasional joyrider feel a little bit freer this holiday season by making them a member of the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign. For just $30 you'll both have the warm fuzzies while helping us fulfill our mission and get more people on bikes.
