Your contribution will keep our 2013 successes rolling into the new year and help create a Chief Bicycle Officer position
Let's take a moment to look back at 11 key accomplishments of 2013, while eagerly anticipating an even bigger 2014. Thank you for your role in making all this happen!
As you look forward to the new year, now is the time to make a donation to your Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.
Why? Well, first and foremost, we're a good investment. Every dollar you give will be matched by our board, and in turn will be used to seek private grants to accomplish our many goals. We're thrifty - many of us started biking to save money, so we know the value of your contributions and manage our budget carefully. We do a lot with a little - just look at how our small organization has created a big, culture-shifting event like Atlanta Streets Alive! We are able to do this through strong partnerships with organizations and individuals just as intent as we are on making a change.
We have vision. Our top goal for 2014 is to create an entirely new position for Atlanta - a Chief Bicycle Officer (CBO). A CBO will be a strong advocate working within city government day to day for the change we desire. Major changes such as bike infrastructure and programs like bike share depend on the City of Atlanta for execution.
And last but not least, with your help, we're making the city and its surroundings a little better every day. YOU are a big part of our success. Thank you for all your support - it makes us better, no matter how it's expressed.
Bonus: your contribution in any amount before December 31 will be worth twice as much to help ABC get a big win for bikeways! And it's tax-deductible! Please be generous.
